Our Background


Our small company has a background based within the hotel and catering industry and IT. Steven Jan Hawker, the director has been involved with IT since graduating from the University of Plymouth in 2001. Between 2001 and 2003 he had the privelege to work for a software in France, this company was formerly known as Business Objects. He worked as a Peformance and Scalability engineer and gained a strong technical understanding of the Business Intelligence system.


After these two years he decided to work as a (SAP) Business Objects contractor through the following companies :-

Our ICT Solution Idea for the hospitality industry


Our company is also in the process of developing a prototype menu database system which is in it early stages of its creation. We are looking to promote and sell our ideas to anyone interested in using such technology at a local and wider community level. Please contact us for further information. We are relevatively new to this area of IT but the skills and knowledge of Steven Jan Hawker and Tommy Hawker have gained reflect upon over 15 to 17 years within in both industry sectors.


The director believes that the system can assist with a variety of cost savings which we are currently looking into as each catering outlet is different with their operations. These costs savings will have a positive impact on the environment by potentially decreasing the amount paper usage and potential printing costs. We are in the process of formulating the final end package but are interested in your opinions about what we are trying to achieve.


The premise of the menu system database is based upon Steven Jan Hawkers' experiences gained in kitchens across Cornwall and in restaurant in Morzine, France.


This was up until he reached the the age of 21. Prior to 1996 he completed a HND in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management gave him the inspiration to complete a degree in Computing and Informatics between 1997 and 2001. With this knowledge and understanding he has established these ideas by building a prototype database. The company is looking to work with local or national catering outlets that may require such a system.
